Food Production in the Context of Global Developmental Challenges

The article presents a synthetic analysis of the most pressing challenges associated with food security in context changes induced by global development and generated problems. study demonstrated that more effective model production management is needed to counteract anthropogenic pressure on natural environment excessive exploitation limited resources caused rapid population growth. Policies aiming increase efficiency conversion raw materials into finished products plant animal origin (including feed high-energy high-protein foods), promote use novel protein sources for production, prevent consumption waste are needed. At present future, demographic, social, environmental, geopolitical factors as well availability should be taken account world leaders who act together, solidarity, provide countries suffering from shortage. Adequate availability, including both physical financial access food, cannot guaranteed without holistic approach security.
